An account may not open for two reasons:

1. You have an old version of Telegram Portable installed (Please check its relevance on Telegram.org)

2. Most often, in the downloaded Tdata archive, there will be an enclosed folder "tdata", you need exactly that. Please check that the folder contains files, not another folder "tdata". This is a quite common reason for disputes due to carelessness ❤️
